I am a writer who enjoys technical writing, writing for the public and also creative writing. I also travel a great deal and like to write about my experiences.

I have have a PhD in Experimental Psychology, University of Maryland at College Park, December 2000. and twenty years of experience in scientific research and writing. Publications include book chapters, commentaries, grant proposals, manuscript reviews and two journal-length articles.

I've written pieces for Medical Staff News targeted at physicians, for the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington VA. I've also written pieces for a general audience for Psychology Today, the Potrero View, Intercom Magazine, The Freelance Writer's Report and EFA's The Freelancer.

Writing is my life, so I am currently working on two novels. One Seed Sown, Two Murders Reaped is the Richard III story told from the point of view of his mother. The second novel, He Must Be Someone, is a family narrative set in Georgetown Washington DC and Berlin Germany. It tells the story of a young and gifted violinist interwoven with stories about her grandmother, uncles, mother and other family members.
